Holiday Giveaways Day 5: Cook's Illustrated - CLOSED

Update: The winner is commenter #217 - Leslie! Her comment about being a Twitter follower was the winner.

Congrats Leslie! You should have an email from me, please reply with your mailing address so I can get your prize off to you.

514ZUZeUQ0L._SS500_

We've reached the final day of my week of giveaways, and I really wish it didn't have to end. This has been a blast! I've loved reading all of your comments, especially the ones about your favorite Trader Joe's products. My shopping list is going to be a mile long next time I'm there :)

Today's giveaway is all about my most trusted source of information when it comes to cooking and baking: Cook's Illustrated. Their cookbooks line my shelves - I'd guess I've made hundreds of their recipes, and have very rarely been disappointed by the results. Their rigorous testing, and thorough explanation of why they do things the way they do in their recipes has undoubtedly made me a better cook and baker. I could go on and on about all the reasons I love Cook's Illustrated, but I'll spare you - let's just get to the giveaway!

Maybe you're a cookbook person, or perhaps you prefer magazines? Maybe you don't want either hanging around your house, and would rather access everything online? No worries, I've got you covered with today's giveaway.

And good news - this giveaway is NOT limited to US residents. However, international residents will only be eligible for the online subscription. The online site collects recipes from all of the magazines, including the current issue, as well as equipment reviews, taste tests, videos demonstrating many of the recipes and more. I promise, it rocks!

Details

The giveaway winner will receive his or her choice of one of the following:

(1) a one-year subscription to Cook's Illustrated magazine
(2) a one-year subscription to Cook's Illustrated's online site
(3) one copy of the Cook's Illustrated Cookbook: 2,000 Recipes from 20 Years of America's Most Trusted Cooking Magazine

How To Enter

Leave a comment on this post answering the question: What's your go-to recipe source, the first place you look when you want to try a new dish?

To Receive Bonus Entries (you must leave a separate comment for each)

1.  Follow Tracey's Culinary Adventures on Twitter.
2.  Like Tracey's Culinary Adventures on Facebook.

{Note: if you already do either of these things, that counts too, just leave a comment for each one telling me.}

Everything Else

Comments on this giveaway will close on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at 11:59 pm EST. A winner will be chosen using random.org and announced on Sunday.  Prize must be claimed by the winner within 48 hours or an alternate winner will be selected.  This giveaway is open worldwide.  Good luck!

(This giveaway is sponsored by Tracey's Culinary Adventures.)
